Thanks for the photos - we can really see her now and what a cutiepie she is! So much for teasing about her chubby ankles in her referral photos - she looks like a little wisp of a thing. Oh, and Anita: say bye-bye to low cut shirts - you will be bending over waaaay too much over the next couple of years and will pay the price at some point (people are still talking after 2 years about a big "flop-out" I preformed at a party while helping Evangeline learn to walk). You will need a new fashion sensibility, with sensibility being the key word there. So glad things are going well. And Carl - don't sweat it when she cries for her Mommy - they all end up Daddy's girls in the end! Love, colleen
Gosh is Grace a sweetie. I just want to hug her so bad I can't stand it.
I'm happy to hear that she's bonded so well to at least one of you. What Colleen said about her being a Daddy's girl is the truth. These little ones have pretty much been with women all their little lives, so it will take just a bit...in the end, Grace will be your best buddy, Carl.
I second the comment on the fashion. Being a Mommy means way different clothing than you're used to wearing. You'd better get some running shoes, too. Just wait until you get home and Grace is after all those animals!!!! She's gonna love it there!
Keep on keeping us posted, but most importantly, have fun over there while you're waiting for Grace's passport. I know there's a ton of things to do.
Pssssst, Grace...give Mommy and Daddy a great big hug for your Auntie Jewels.
Here I go again crying! Love allthe postings, pictures and comments! But the pictures! Miss Grace is an absolute doll baby! WOW! Already shopping at Walmart! You go Baby Girl! Love you all so much--yeah--Carl--Buddy you don't stand a chance that Gracie WON't cling to you! Little girls adore their daddies! I was a Daddy fan--still am! Hee! Hee! You don't stand a chance!
